The Office of the Controller is the fiscal watchdog for the county - ensuring all funds are spent legally and wisely. In addition, the Controller:
Audits all county departments, ensuring budgets are being spent appropriately and that we know what is being spent, where, by whom, and for what purpose.
Manages payroll for all 2,600 county government employees.
Provides transparency in all county government financial oprations, ensuring that the government is serving the needs of all Chester County residents
As Controller, I will do my part to make our county a place where every resident can trust in the leadership and financial stewardship of their government.
Why I’m Running for Controller
Government needs to work for all of us, not just the billionaires and the rich. I believe that for this to become reality, more working-class people need to get involved in politics, which is why I decided to run for local office. My career has consisted of working in all four areas managed by the Controller’s Office, and now I want to bring my 15+ years of experience to work for the people of Chester County. It’s my small way of changing the future of politics in our country - starting with our county and building towards a larger political movement where everyday Americans take back our government from the hands of the wealthy and large corporations.
As Controller, I will ensure that all of Chester County government spends taxpayer money wisely and legally. I will be a steady hand managing the county’s finances, providing accountability and trust to taxpayers, and making sure that every dollar is spent in the best interest of our community.
