Thank you for visiting my site and taking an interest in my campaign. My name is Nick Cherubino and I’m running to be your next Controller for Chester County. I've built my career on trust, integrity, and strategic financial oversight. I've been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over 15 years and I've worked extensively in both the public and private sectors.

From managing complex financial operations at Vanguard to overseeing budgets and audits in Uwchlan Township, my focus has always been on creating clear, transparent, and effective financial systems that drive long-term success.

Meet Nick

I was born and raised in Coatesville and have lived in Chester County my entire life. After graduating from Coatesville High School, I achieved a bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Chester University and went on to work in the accounting profession where I obtained a license of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) which serves as a symbol of my expertise, credibility, and ethics. I currently live in Uwchlan Township with my wife and daughter. As a lifelong resident with longstanding family ties to Chester County, I am deeply invested in ensuring our community thrives financially and beyond. 

My journey has been driven by a passion for fiscal responsibility and simplifying complex processes to be both efficient and minimize risk. I have over 15 years of experience as a CPA with a background that spans across a variety of roles in both the public and private sector. From performing audits to managing financial operations and overseeing budgets, my focus has always been on creating clear, transparent, and effective processes that maximize value and create long-term success. 

Why I’m Running for Controller

Government needs to work for all of us, not just the billionaires and the rich. I believe that for this to become reality, more working-class people need to get involved in politics, which is why I decided to run for local office. My career has consisted of working in all four areas managed by the Controller’s Office, and now I want to bring my 15+ years of experience to work for the people of Chester County. It’s my small way of changing the future of politics in our country - starting with our county and building towards a larger political movement where everyday Americans take back our government from the hands of the wealthy and large corporations. 

As Controller, I will ensure that all of Chester County government spends taxpayer money wisely and legally. I will be a steady hand managing the county’s finances, providing accountability and trust to taxpayers, and making sure that every dollar is spent in the best interest of our community.
